Police Arrest Man Wanted for 35 Robberies

In Phoenix, local law enforcement officers told reporters that they finally arrested a serial robber who was suspected of committing approximately 35 robberies in just one month. Now, 26-year-old Dwayne Watson is facing multiple charges including 35 counts of armed robbery, misconduct involving weapons, probation violation and aggravated assault.

Officers say that Watson committed his robberies between September 19th and November 15th. The theft crimes took place in Phoenix as well as Gelndale. He is believed to have robbed a Fry's, Circle K's and other well-known fast food franchises. During one robbery, Watson allegedly shot a security guard while fleeing the store. Police were able to arrest him after they received a public tip.
