When police responded to a shooting near 36th and Northern avenues last weekend, they found a bloody scene with one victim.
A shooting was reported at a Vietnamese cafe in Phoenix; officers responded and found the body of Yoong Phomhom on the ground outside. It appeared that he had not only been shot, but also run over. He was later pronounced dead in a local hospital.
Police later reported that the suspect, Ken Van Pham, turned himself into the authorities for the murder of Phomhom. The cause of the shooting was an argument that Phomhom had been having with Pham's brother. According to Sgt. Steve Martos Pham left after shooting Phomhom, and only made matters worse when he ran over him on the way out.
Pham will be transferred to the Maricopa County Jail early this week. Dealing with a murder charge? Speak to a Phoenix criminal defense attorney from our as soon as you possibly can so they can investigate the details of your case.
