Bicycle Accident Takes Life of Teenage Boy

A teenage boy was struck by a car while riding his bicycle last week in San Diego, California. Police have identified the victim as a 17-year-old student at Bonita High School. Official reports show that the victim was riding his bicycle from school when he was struck by a car. He fell off the bike and was lying on the road when he was run over by a second vehicle. Eyewitness testimony shows that the victim ran through a red light on his bicycle, causing the bicycle accident to take place.

The teen was pronounced dead on the scene due to suffering multiple injuries. While police originally thought the victim was 20 years old, a background check revealed that he was just 17 at the time of death.
