Teenager Arrested for Threatening to Execute School Shooting

Whether it was teenage angst or an actual threat, one young boy was arrested last week for threatening to bring a gun to school.

Last week the 14-year-old boy posted comments on a video sharing site that he planned on shooting at people at his middle school before killing himself. Luckily, someone reported the comments to law enforcement who visited the boy at his home with a search warrant.

Although they did not find any weapons on the boy or at his house, he was taken into custody for threatening and intimidating, as well as suspicion of interfering with a school. While officers searched the boy's home, several sheriffs' deputies were sent to his school as a precaution.

At this time, the identity of the juvenile will not be released to the press.

If your loved one has been arrested for juvenile crimes, now is the right time to arrange a time to speak with a Phoenix criminal defense attorney as a conviction can result in life-long consequences.
