Suspect Arrested in Drug-Related Murder Case

Police with the homicide department in Glendale, Arizona received a break in a murder case involving a 29-year-old male victim who was killed on August 28th. Officers say that they were finally able to establish probable cause, which enabled them to arrest their suspect, a 21-year-old man, on Wednesday.

After investigating the case, police said that they had reason to believe that the suspect killed the victim during a drug deal that took place in a parking lot outside of a housing complex. Detectives found surveillance footage that added to their evidence and they were then able to book their suspect for first-degree murder.

If convicted, authorities say that the suspect could face a life term in prison. At this time, no details have been released about his arraignment.
