Authorities Trying to Crack Down on Selling of "Bath Salts"

Authorities across the country are working to capture people selling illicit bath salts and other dangerous drugs. One such bust took place last week that led to the arrest of three people during an undercover operation. Police officers worked undercover to uncover the sale of drugs at five locations. Two of the suspects - P.F.H., 42, and C.L.W., 25 - were taken into custody on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs for sale, and possession of a firearm during a drug offense. The third suspect, 47-year-old N.A. faces the same charges as well as possession of a dangerous drug.

All three suspects were found to be in possession of "bath salts" and "spice" that is being sold as illicit drugs. Nearly 5,000 packets of spice and bath salts were discovered at multiple locations. Other substances such as salvia and kratom were also discovered during the raid. Facing drug crime charges in the city of Phoenix?
