Area police say that a woman who was riding her bicycle on Friday afternoon
died after she was struck by a motor vehicle. The
bicycle accident occurred just after 3:00 PM near 12the Street and Indian School Road.
When officers arrived at the scene of the accident they pronounced the
victim died. The biker was allegedly going eastbound on Turney Avenue
and traveling toward 12th Street. The victim attempted to make a left turn but was unable to make
the turn and fell off of her bicycle. She landed directly in the southbound
