This past Friday, news sources reported that a Phoenix police motorcycle
serious injuries during morning hours when she collided with the side of the vehicle that
turned in front of her. The
motorcycle accident occurred near Eight Street and Camelback Road.
It is said that the officer was heading west at 7:30 AM when her motorcycle
T-boned a 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This information was made public
by Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson.
The officer that was injured is a 14 year veteran of the police department.
She had to be transported to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening,
At this time, the status of the 30-year-old driver remains unclear. However,
it has been reported that the side of the Monte Carlo was caved in.
