Wal-Mart Thief Caught by Local Police

Police in Maricopa County have finally caught up with one thief responsible for targeting several Wal-Mart stores. The suspect is believed to have stolen thousands of dollars in high-priced merchandize from the national retailer. According to the police report, 34-year-old J.D.D. is believed to have stolen merchandise not only from Maricopa County but other locations throughout the state of Arizona as well. Last week the suspect was taken into custody by the Chandler Police Department. He is being held on suspicion of multiple counts of trafficking of stolen property and burglary.

Although police do not have all of the details just yet, the investigating team believes that J.D.D. is responsible for stealing at least $45,000 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart stores in Maricopa County alone. Police believe that he stole the items to support his drug habit as he is an admitted methamphetamine user. It is uncertain whether J.D.D. has legal representation at this time.
